Hi, I’m Asya, a 22 years old currently living in Milan.
I am studying Business Communication and Public Relations, but, to cut a long story short and generalise a little, I study Communication at IULM.
My life has always been on the move: I was born in San Miniato, a small Tuscan village in the province of Pisa. I started studying ballet at the age of three and made it my only passion for a long time. For this reason, I moved to Florence and later to Kiev.
After a not-so-pleasant experience (more details in the next post), I decided to go back home. I completed, albeit with some difficulty, the linguistic high school, and let dance take a back seat, because in life you must either study or do sport, according to the school professors.
During this period, a little dark I would say, I spent a lot of time thinking about what could have made me happy during my ‘adult’ life: for now, communication seems to be the right path, but never say never …
OK, now you may ask: “So now what? Well, you have introduced yourself but why should we continue reading?”.
Now that I have introduced myself, I will explain why I wanted to create this space.
As I was relaxing on a deck chair at my beach house, the thought of starting a blog popped into my mind. I thought about the feasibility of it for a couple of days and thought to myself, “why not?”
Trying to give shape to this idea of mine, I realised that I wanted to create a non-place; a space where I could feel free to tell you what I like and what I am curious about, my past and future experiences, what I think about as I walk through the streets of whatever city life takes me to, a space where I could share my emotions (whether good or bad) without the fear of others’ judgement.
I would like this space, open to anyone who stumbles upon it at least once, to collect FRAMMENTI (fragments) of life.
